How to Request Your Health Care Records
To request a copy of your mental health records, please follow these steps:
Submission: You may submit your request via email to Laura@reframecounseling.net.
Timeline: Once a request is received, I will provide your records within 15 business days as required by Texas law.
Fees: A reasonable, cost-based fee for copying or postage may apply as permitted by § 181.101.

Filing a Complaint
If you have a concern regarding the privacy of your health information or the quality of care received, you have the right to file a formal complaint:
Internal Complaint: Please contact Laura Garison of Reframe Counseling, PLLC at Laura@reframecounseling.net to discuss your concerns directly.
State Complaint (Privacy): You may file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General regarding health information privacy via their Consumer Protection website.
State Complaint (Professional Conduct): To file a complaint against a licensed professional, visit the BHEC Investigations page to submit a complaint form online or by mail.
